Grades Kindergarten through 5

Garfield Elementary is located at 600 South 8th Street. The school was completely rebuilt and reopened in 2007. The newer school has given the school community a sense of pride that shows each day in attitudes and behaviors. Garfield teachers serve approximately 300 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The "Rock Stars'are the mascot and blue and orange are the school's colors. Lori Cox is the principal at Garfield and leads the staff with a vision of "achieving excellence for all students using data from assessments to provide focused learning opportunities".
