Garfield Teacher Selected to Receive Golden Apple Award
Brandy Smith a special education teacher at Garfield Elementary was nominated and received the
Golden Apple Award.
Garfield Principal Katy Thomason said, “Garfield is so proud to have such a
dedicated teacher.”
The Golden Apple Award honors outstanding teachers and educators in North Central Oklahoma and
Southern Kansas.
Monthly winners are nominated and receive the Golden Apple Trophy and $200 in
classroom supplies.
